Simply magnificent

Vals is mountain summer. Knotty like an old pine tree, tangy like a hayfield before a summer thunderstorm. Vals is moor, moss and alp, stone, mountain and horns. Vals can be experienced in mountain boots and even barefoot, Vals can be experienced on a bike or simply lying in the grass.

Incidentally, Vals is large. The village has less than 1000 inhabitants, but with 176 square kilometres it is larger than the Principality of Liechtenstein. This means: plenty of space for hiking, biking, climbing, mountain stream bathing, trail running, relaxing and recreation.
