Our hotel stands right on the village square of Vals, surrounded by old, sun-browned wooden houses. Our hotel stood here yesterday, will stand here tomorrow - and stands open to you.

Ground floor / First floor rooms
These rooms are being built and designed from scratch by Gion A. Caminada. They are located either on the ground floor, facing the ‘Bidem’ car park, or on the first floor, facing the village centre and inner courtyard. As a result, they offer only a partial view of the Vals mountain scenery and the stone-roofed houses of Vals. The rooms are fitted to the very latest building standards, including underfloor heating and blinds.
The rooms also feature a desk, a flat-screen TV and Wi-Fi. The floors are made of oak, as is the furniture, which has been crafted by local artisans; naturally, the bathrooms are also finished in Vals quartzite and fitted with ‘Herzbach’ taps. All rooms in this category also have an outdoor area.
Room size approx. 18–24 square metres (excluding outdoor area)

Deluxe rooms
These rooms, too, are being completely rebuilt and redesigned by Gion A. Caminada. The rooms are situated on the second or third floor and offer wonderful views of the Vals mountain landscape and/or the characteristic Vals stone roofs. The rooms are fitted to the very latest building standards, including underfloor heating and blinds.
The rooms also feature a desk, a flat-screen TV and Wi-Fi. The floors are made of oak, as is the furniture, which has been crafted by local artisans; naturally, the bathrooms are once again finished in Vals quartzite and fitted with ‘Herzbach’ taps. Almost all rooms in this category also have a balcony.

Loft rooms
The ‘Loft Rooms’ are situated on the second floor and have a balcony. With a ceiling height of 3.7 metres, these rooms are exceptionally spacious! They also feature an interesting layout and very tall windows, offering wonderful views and plenty of natural light.
The special feature of these rooms is a small built-in gallery/lounge, where you can comfortably read a book or simply enjoy the view. The gallery/lounge can also be used as a sleeping area for children aged 7 and over.

Further Information
All rooms, designed by Gion A. Caminada, are located in the main building and include access to our Alpina Wellness Area with a sauna, steam room, and outdoor hot-water pool. There is an elevator in the main building.
The guesthouse, located about 20 meters away, offers the following room types: Standard, Comfort, and Family rooms. Use of the Alpina Wellness Area is not included in the room rates but can be booked at a discounted rate, subject to availability.
Arrival: Our rooms are usually ready for occupancy from 1:00 p.m.
Departure: Check-out at the latest by 11:00 a.m.
All prices are per person and night and include

Children from 4-14 years in own room, 20% reduction
Surcharges
Single room surcharge a minimum of CHF 30.- till CHF 40.- per night.
On weekends, Friday & Saturday a minimum of CHF 30.- till cHF 40.- per person per night.
During the high season (Christmas/New Year and Easter) surcharges may apply.
Half board offer
If you book half board, a rich breakfast buffet awaits you in the morning and a market-fresh, creative 4-course menu in the evening. Surcharge for the evening menu is CHF 59.- per person. Half-board must be booked before arrival (at least 1 day in advance) to benefit from the special price.
