Simply enjoy

Enjoy sitting at the village square of Vals on a summer afternoon and blinking into the sun. In the evening, dine in our tavern or in the restaurant on the 1st floor with a view of the village square. Then a nightcap at the hotel bar and nighty-night!

Life can be so simple and so good. Just as good as the cuisine at the Alpina. We buy our meat from the butcher we trust. We buy the cheese from the farmer around the corner. Cooking regional and fresh products was important to us long before organic became a trend. Simply since it is the right thing to do. But it is also fair to say that not everything grows in Vals. So we also buy in lower-lying regions.

So, what is available? In short: wholesome, delicious and interesting food.

Company Holidays

Our hotel and restaurants will be closed from 1 April to 8 May 2024 due to company holidays.
We will be open again for our guests from 9 May 2024.

Dining restaurant

Our dining restaurant with a view directly onto the village square - a dining room with a discreetly elegant aura. Reservation is recommended.

Dogs are not allowed in our restaurant on the first floor - they are welcome to join you in the tavern on the ground floor.

Tavern

Our taverne, panelled entirely in stone-pine wood, is located on the ground floor. The same à la carte menu is served as in the dining restaurant. Reservations are also recommended here.

Alpina Bar

Classic aperitifs, homemade lemonades and our large selection of spirits await you.

The meeting place for young & old, locals & guests. And you can also dine in our bar!
